WANT YOUR PLUMP BACK?
Majority of dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance that binds to water. The gel-like liquid is injected under the skin to take up the extra space that has been created from your body’s loss of collagen. There are also dermal fillers that are considered collagen stimulators, Radiesse, Bellafill and Sculptra. A mix of these fillers treated at once is known as The Liquid Facelift.
How it works:
As we age, we lose collagen, experience the effects of sun damage, environmental factors and genetics. These factors can result in sagging skin, lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers help to restore lost volume, plump skin, and ease lines and wrinkles.
You may wonder why there are so many different dermal fillers. The reason is that each dermal filler has a unique consistency and molecule size. Our expert will choose the correct filler for your uniquely beautiful face and the area being treated. With so many options available when it comes to dermal fillers, it can be overwhelming choosing the brand that is best for you. At Cosmetic Lounge, we will perform an in-depth facial assessment to select the appropriate dermal filler to meet your needs.
What to expect:
Topical numbing is applied for 15 minutes before injecting begins which will help minimize discomfort. The product will be injected in to the desired area for volume loss correction. Getting dermal filler treatment is non-invasive however all treatments with dermal fillers have the chance for bruising, swelling and tenderness around the injection site.
Dermal Fillers are best for treating:
- Nasolabial folds also known as smile lines
- Marionette lines (at the corner of mouth)
- Cheek hollows
- Under eye area
- Temporal hollows
- Neck Lines
The area after injected may feel tender therefore applying ice may feel good and help with swelling. Expect that swelling may occur the next day but will subside over time.
