ONE OF THE FAVORITES AT COSMETIC LOUNGE AND CERTAINLY ONE OF THE MOST RELAXING!
Why should you get a HydraFacial? Deep exfoliation and extraction methods can leave the skin red and irritated, but the latest breakthrough in aesthetic technology, called HydraFacial MD, has proven to deliver instant, red-carpet worthy results without damaging your skin. HydraFacial is a different kind of skin-enhancing treatment because of how it exfoliates, hydrates and rejuvenates the skin to instantly improve the overall appearance.
What to expect:
Step 1: Vortex Exfoliation
After removing the makeup from your face, the first step is to remove dead skin cells in order to reveal healthy ones. We will sweep away remnants of makeup and dead skin cells.
Step 2: Vortex Peel/Cleaning
Next, Glysal™ serum will be applied to the face, which is a mixture of Glycolic and Salicylic Acid to deliver the benefits of a typical peel without the post-peel scaling. Some peels create a stinging sensation for a few minutes until they’re washed off, but the HydraFacial is gentle and only leaves a very faint tingle. The peel hydrates the skin by using a nutrient-rich solution that deeply penetrates the pores of the skin to gently remove impurities while also softening the skin.
Step 3: Vortex Extraction
This step sounds more intimidating than it is in reality. As opposed to a manual extraction, the aesthetician uses what’s called a vortex-extraction nozzle. The nozzle rapidly circulates liquid that when applied to the skin, acts as a vacuum to eliminate blemishes like blackheads, whiteheads and clogged pores for a completely painless and instantaneous extractions.
Step 4: Vortex Fusion
Lastly, the vortex-fusion tool which infuses a special hydrating serum into the skin which diminishes the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, sun damage and oiliness.
No down time:
When the treatment is finished, your skin will be ultra-clean, glowing and smooth. Many people find they love the look of their natural skin so much they won’t feel the need to reapply their makeup. To keep the look, it’s recommended to come in for a scheduled HydraFacial once per month.
